OUR HISTORY
Where It All Started
The story of Advance Turning begins in 1968 in the basement of John Macchia’s home in Jackson, Michigan. After finishing his full-time job each day, John hand-machined parts for a local Aerospace company, steadily building a reputation for precision, reliability, and hard work. What started as late nights in a basement quickly grew into something much bigger.
Advance Turning was officially incorporated in 1972, and by 1977 the company had surpassed $1 million in sales. That early momentum continued for decades, fueled by craftsmanship, innovation, and trusted partnerships. In 2025, Advance Turning reached $50 million in revenue, a milestone that reflects more than growth. It represents over half a century of dedication to excellence in manufacturing.
